Necklace Sizing

Sizing Information

Sizing is a combination of personal preference and standard approach.  The following guide can be used to help you determine the appropriate bracelet size that you need:

The first approach is to use industry standards for adults.  The average bracelet size for the adult woman is 7 1/2 inches.  A 7-inch bracelet usually fits the smaller petite wrist.  For a wrist larger than average, 8 inches is the industry norm.  Often, the frame of the woman (small boned to large boned) determines the size of bracelet needed.

For full-grown teens, the guidelines above apply.     

For young girls wrists sizes range from 5 to 7 inches.  

A second approach is to measure the wrist size with a tape measure.  Add 1 inch for a comfortable drape, 1 1/2 inches for a looser drape. 

A final approach is to measure a favorite bracelet or watch worn by you or the gift recipient.  Order that length.

Everyone is different!  I will be pleased to design a bracelet at the length that you need.  Just let me know in your size selection process when you place your order.  For most styles of bracelets and watches, we can adjust down to a 6 1/2 inch length or up to a 9 inch length.
